About WasteContracts
WasteContracts is a free reference for the businesses that buy commercial waste-hauling service: property managers, restaurants, retailers, warehouses and plants. It explains the hauling agreement clause by clause from the customer's side, and gives tools for the dates and dollars those clauses decide.
Why a site about one document?
Because the agreement decides more of the cost than the rate does. The renewal and notice terms decide when you can rebid; the adjustment and fee terms decide how the bill grows; the liquidated damages term decides what leaving costs. Those clauses are written by the hauler and rarely read by the buyer until it's too late.
How pages are researched
- Descriptions of hauler terms come from the haulers' own public documents, cited and linked on each page.
- Laws and rules come from the statute, the city or the government agency that published them.
- Prices appear only when they come from a published rate sheet, with its place and effective date.
- Each page shows the date it was last checked against its sources. The full list is on sources.
What WasteContracts is not
It is not a hauler or a broker, and it is not a law firm. Nothing here is legal advice. Hauler terms vary by region and change; your signed agreement is what counts.
Quote requests
If you ask for your service to be quoted or rebid, we'll match you with providers who can quote it. Your request goes only to that purpose; see privacy. Notices to your current hauler should still come from you.
